After almost 30 years in the United States Marine Corps, I came to Clearspeed to keep doing work that matters, drawn by a leadership, mission, and vision I believe in. Clearspeed recently turned 10, and I've been fortunate to be part of the last 7 of those years. The most rewarding part of working here has been the consistency in the quality of people brought in to drive our mission forward. Good people, challenging work, and technology that positively impacts the world in a way very few companies can claim. Beyond that, I've been given the room to grow professionally. I've had the chance to see and do a bit of everything, and when I was ready to make the jump from Marketing to Sales, the support I received across the board was incredible. I wouldn't trade this opportunity for anything. Mission First. Team Always.

My heart has always been to serve others, so to fill a role that gives me opportunities to focus most closely on those running this race alongside me is of utmost importance—the honor of which is not lost on me. There’s some debate around who originally said, “Impossible is for the unwilling,” but this mindset beautifully captures that of our founders. It has defined the culture they’ve established from day one, and that culture keeps me motivated. The tech is important—this work matters and is essential. But the human beings behind it all are the unsung heroes & the reasons for what I do…and why I genuinely love it.

What I enjoy most about Clearspeed is being part of something big, and changing the world of trust is a truly meaningful mission. Our "team of teams" ethos, paired with how humble our founders are, makes the culture here special. I'd describe my journey in three words: exciting, challenging, rewarding. Working at a smaller company means every decision has real impact, which has made me far more intentional about adding value, not distraction.
