2023

Clearspeed was recognized in two categories – Technology Innovation and Claims Innovation – for the 2023 PropertyCasualty360 Insurance Luminaries, which, in PC360’s words, “honors those in the business that shove off dated insurance-industry stereotypes and push for fresh thinking and practices around the most impactful issues of our time.” The honor, rooted in the P&C sector, highlights those who are modernizing and humanizing insurance. 

Honorees in the Technology Innovation category are considered pace-setters who push the industry forward in terms of digitalization, modernization and customer experience. Honorees in the Claims Innovation category thoroughly understand the impact that a single claim can have on policyholder satisfaction, and foster progressive tools and practices to manage claims, and further fraud and claims mitigation.


Clearspeed won Silver for Fraud Technology Solution of the Year at the The Insurance Times Tech & Innovation Awards, which celebrate the best and brightest in UK general insurance who are delivering impact and innovation across the sector.


The InsurTech100 is an annual list of 100 of the world’s most innovative InsurTech companies selected by a panel of industry experts and analysts. The 2023 awards recognise the next generation of solution providers shaping the future of the insurance industry. The list aims to help senior management and insurance professionals evaluate which digital insurance models have market potential and are most likely to succeed and have a lasting impact on the industry.


Clearspeed won Digital Innovation of the Year at the British Insurance Awards. The category focuses on effective and agile use of technology by general insurance companies and brokers as part of the wider shift to digitalization. Success criteria includes firms that have fully engaged customers through tech platforms to enhance their end-to-end insurance journey, and evidence of how a firm has reduced complexity, thereby lowering costs and increasing their ability to respond to change.


As part of ITC DIA Europe 2023 in Barcelona, the Diamond Awards are presented to organizations with presentations that were voted as the most strategically impactful.


As the Counter Fraud category winner at the 2023 British Claims Awards, Clearspeed was recognized for the impact of its voice analytics risk assessment technology on wider counter fraud efforts, and adding value to counter fraud efforts through creativity and fresh thinking.


Clearspeed won both Best Newcomer and Innovation of the Year, and was highly commended for Insurtech of the Year. As Innovation of the Year, Clearspeed was recognized as an innovation that has made the biggest impact across the insurance sector over the last 12 months in an identified area of need in the claims process. Insurtech of the Year honorees were recognized for driving innovation and change, enhancing processes, and enriching customer and client experience.
