ClearSpeed Technology Signs Agreement with Super Sonic Technology to Sell
Accelerated High Performance Solutions in Chinese and Taiwanese Markets

Agreement underscores demand for acceleration in the fastest growing markets in Asia

Bristol, UK – September 26, 2007 – ClearSpeed Technology (LSE:CSD), the world leader in acceleration for high performance computing (HPC), today announced an agreement with Super Sonic Technology Ltd., the “one-stop shop” for add-on solutions for servers and workstations, to sell solutions equipped with ClearSpeed Advance™ accelerators to customers in China and Taiwan.

With offices in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai, and expertise selling in to the automotive and financial markets, Super Sonic Technology and its network have a customer base of more than 40,000 users of engineering simulation. Super Sonic is developing and working with partners on several important computer aided engineering (CAE) applications that will allow users to exploit ClearSpeed acceleration. Manufacturing applications that already benefit from ClearSpeed acceleration include popular tools such as Wolfram’s Mathematica and the Mathworks MATLAB.

“The Chinese economy is rapidly growing and the capability for advanced engineering simulations is being upgraded across all industrial sectors,” said Edward Li, president of Super Sonic Technology. “Being able to offer energy-efficient ClearSpeed solutions will help drive this growth and provide our customers with accelerated high performance systems that will allow them to solve real-world problems.”

“Offering energy-efficient accelerated system solutions is in response to customer demands from the Chinese and Taiwanese markets,” said Robert Nikora, ClearSpeed vice president of sales. “With Super Sonic’s system expertise, we’re pleased to extend our reach and satisfy customer demands in these growing markets.”
