Synthetic Aperture Radar - SAR

We excel in processing Radar data sets, from front end capture and pulse compression techniques to SAR processing and beyond. The ClearSpeed processor platform efficiently computes single precision complex FFTs (see our CSX700 FFT benchmarks). By being software programmable the developer can instruct the processor to perform additional operations while the data is distributed across the processing array.

This makes it particularly efficient when combining the multiple stages involved in close to the sensor SAR processing; for example, the convolution operations used in Fast-time filtering (pulse compression), can be followed by user programmed functions such as focusing and interpolation, without needing to move the data between processors. This makes ClearSpeed's processing platform ideal for a range of close to the sensor SAR and related products; Radar, Sonar, Imaging, Target Discrimination, Electronic Warfare, Communications Intelligence.

The ClearSpeed board products enable post-processing and signal processing evaluation systems to be implemented quickly. For custom applications our hardware development kit (HDK) provides the materials to integrate CSX700 devices in custom hardware.
