The LINPACK benchmark is widely used in high performance computing and forms the basis of the Top 500 ranking.

Financial Services

The ClearSpeed Advance product family accelerates financial calculations and model development by providing an environment for rapid testing and development. ClearSpeed accelerated applications can run back-testing, calibrations, pricing, risking and Value at Risk (VaR) up to 40 times faster per board compared with a single industry standard CPU.

Computational Chemistry

Computational chemistry covers a number of areas such as Molecular Modeling (MM), Molecular Dynamics and Density Functional Theory (DFT)

A set of Amber 9 Sander Implicit methods has been modified to take advantage of the ClearSpeed Advance accelerators. This includes the effective radius and force calculation of Amber's Generalized Born (GB) models 1, 2, 5 and 6. For package download information click here. These methods model the interactions of electromagnetic fields with physical objects and the environment.
